⚽Football Coaching FAQs
Q: I haven’t played in years - is this still for me?
Yes! Loads of my clients are returning to football after a break.
My sessions are relaxed, supportive and tailored to your current fitness and confidence level - there's never any judgment or pressure.
Q: Do I need to be “fit” before booking a session?
Not at all - getting fitter is part of the process... we’ll work at your pace. Whether you’re just getting started or want to improve and further develop your match stamina, I’ll help you build it up safely and steadily.
Q: What should I bring to a session?
Just wear something comfy to move in, bring water, and ideally wear football boots appropriate to the ground you'll be training on
(though trainers are usually fine for grass).
I’ll bring all of the equipment (unless you have anything yourself that you particularly want to use).
Q: Where are the sessions held?
I coach in and around Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch (Dorset) and their surrounding areas.
The location preference is all yours! whether that's your garden, local park/green space or your training facility or pitch etc.
Q: Do you offer coaching for kids, teens or adults?
I coach all age groups, ability levels and experience - no exceptions.
Q. I have more than 1 child, do you discounts for multiple children?
Certainly - I want to ensure that sessions are affordable and cost-effective to parents and that's why I offer a group football coaching package for up to 4 people (see the book online & contact page for more details).
Q. Me and a couple of teammates want some additional coaching outside of our club/team - can you help?
Of course! similar to the answer above, I want to ensure that it's affordable and cost-effective to you, so opt for the group football coaching package (for up to 4 people) on the book online & contact page.
Q. Do you coach players with SEN requirements?
Absolutely - I have experience with coaching players of varying ages with SEN requirements and can explain, demonstrate and educate what we're trying to achieve in a way that's most suitable for them.
Q. Do you coach players with a disability - or disability football in general?
By all means... I have experience with coaching players of varying ages and varying disabilities and would certainly welcome the chance to be involved and see how I can help.
Q: Do you work with teams or clubs?
Yes! I offer group/team football coaching, assistance with helping managers and/or other coaches with their development, sports nutrition talks etc. as well as club/team bundle packages that are customised to your requirements.
Please get in touch if you have any questions via the book online & contact page to arrange a free 15-minute consultation call or feel free to message us on Facebook, Instagram or email hello@pitchandprep.co.uk for more information.
🥗 Nutrition Coaching FAQs
Q: Do you do meal plans?
Not rigid ones. I give flexible, personalised recommendations based on your goals, lifestyle, and what you actually enjoy eating — no bland chicken or broccoli-only plans here.
Q: What if I’m vegetarian, vegan, or have allergies?
All of my nutrition support is tailored. I’ll always ask about dietary needs beforehand and create something that works for your preferences and budget.
Q: I don’t play football but I want help with nutrition — can I still book?
Yes! While I focus on footballers and casual athletes, anyone wanting practical, no-nonsense fuelling advice is welcome to get in touch.
Q: Is the nutrition advice based on science?
Absolutely. I combine my coaching experience with up-to-date, evidence-based nutritional guidance. I’m also training in nutrition coaching to deepen this offering further.
Q: What if I’m short on time or don’t cook much?
That’s exactly the kind of client I build around. I’ll help you make smart, simple fuelling decisions that work around real life — including budget, time, and effort.
